The Ansaldo Nucleare’s Quality Assurance
Program (QAP) is established to enforce the quality policy of the Company
relating to the activities of design, subcontracting fabrication, installation,
testing, commissioning, start-up, service, decommissioning and waste treatment,
in compliance with the prescription of the following documents:

ANSI/ASME NQA1 Ed. 1989 Addenda 1992-
Quality Assurance Program Requirements for Nuclear Facilities;

ISO 9001/2000 - Quality systems
- Model for quality assurance in design/development, production, installation
and servicing;

ISO 14001/2004 - Environmental Management System
- Model for the environmental management in management & control of construction activities of nuclear power plants and subsequent
intervention works. Development of new technology related to nuclear products and technology for the maintenance and decommissioning
of nuclear power plants;

Code N. 50-C-Q2001 - Quality Assurance
for Safety in Nuclear Power Plants;

UNI N. 8450 - Criteria prescriptions
and recommendations for a Quality Assurance Program;

ENEA Technical Guides on Quality Assurance
issued up to the present and in particular Guide No 8, 22, 23, 24, 25 inclusive.
The QAP is periodically reviewed and updated. |
